Zukiswa Wanner
2020 Goethe Medal winner Zukiswa Wanner is the author of four novels, three children’s books and two works of nonfiction. She’s the founder and curator of Artistic Encounters, Afrolit Sans Frontiéres and Virtually Yours and one third of Writer’s Inc. Wanner is co-founder of independent publishing house, Paivapo. She was guest editor at Peripheries 6 and 8, “Race, racism, territory and institutions (2021)”, and “Litafrika: artistic encounters (2023)”. She lives in Nairobi, Kenya.
